How I got started in racing: Would go to the races with my dad.
They built a go-kart track called Thunderlake speedway, that is where i started to
race. John O'neal let me us one of his karts to practice with. The first week that
Thunderlake opened I won that night. We raced for 2-more years until my mom
got sick, so we took a year off racing while she got better. Then a race track called
Winston speedway started a class for 12-16 year olds. We built a factory stock to
run there. The first race I finished 2nd.The next week I went out and had a clean
sweep. Won the heat race and the feature for the night.I raced up at winston for a
few weeks then decided to go down to race at the Lake Ozark Mo. That is when i
started racing with adults.(I was only 15yrs old) I ended up 3rd in points at Linn
County Speedway.I ended up winning a total of 6 features that year.I was awarded
Rookie of the year at Linn County Speedway in 2004. In 2006 we started to race
A modifieds. I traveled around that first year just getting used to the feel of a
modified compared to a street stock. The Best finish I had my first year in a
modified was 3rd. In 2007 we geared up for a busy year of racing starting in
Talladega, Alabama on January 4th. I Finished 19th at my first big race of the year
in my brand new DW-11. I traveled all over the midwest in 2007 running with
many series like USMTS, UMP, IMCA at over 40 races. This Year I have a new
Bills Built Chassis and plan on running 50+ Shows all around the Midwestern
Region. Check Back Soon For More Updates.
